I now live in San Francisco and am studying 3D Animation, Illustration, and Video Games in the MFA program at the Academy of Art College. I will add more art to the latest Hirez Gallery after Acid 100 is released early next month

Updates:
Added another school paper; The Dow Te Ching, to the literature gallery, made some comments about my recent shugyo on my personal timeline, and updated my resume. Also updated the links and web page archive to reflect the New Trekker Adventures site mentioned below.

News:
This is the first update since returning to the States. Took a bit of a hiatus in order to construct my father's New Trekker Adventures website... OK, so the Southern Discovery MetaNavigation looks kind of familiar, doesn't it? (I feel as though it is rather similar to this site's navigation.)

I just got back from NYC where I visited my sister Jessica and my friend JRock... had a lot of fun. We went to my favorite bar in the world; Sake Bar Decibel, with a bunch of friends. Also, I got to see Thoroughly Modern Millie; a new Broadway musical that my sister is in, which won 6 Tony awards last week!

New "in progress" galleries added. Gv and Friends 03 and Hirez 07 have been uploaded. As these are in progress, more will be added to them in the coming months. Hirez 06 has been altered slightly to make it a bit friendlier. I added some commentary next to the thumbnails as well as back buttons on each image page for those who do not have 5 button mice or use keyboard shortcuts.

What Is Shugyo? is also nearing completion as rough drafts for sections 07: Fine Art and 08: Diet, Habits, and Bodytherapy have been completed. The only section that remains in outline form is 04: Breathing, which I plan to write in early June.

The Literature gallery has also seen updates, added more approximate dates next to the links and rummaged through my word directories to find some more material to add.

News: I will be returning to the USA this May after approx. 9 months of living in South Asia. I am shipping my computer back by sea... though this may not affect my updates as I will most likely have computers that l can use.

The China 01 Photo Gallery is now complete. If you checked it out before, please look again. I have also added comments to the pictures, so hopefully they are more meaningful now. Now that this task is complete I might take a short web page break to work on some 3D and 2D art. The next sections that I will probably add are the Sri Lanka photo gallery and maybe fill out some more sections of the Shugyo Diary. Check out Yuki's web page to see her Sri Lanka gallery in the meantime.

Additional updates include a slight revision to the Shugyo Diary that makes it look a bit nicer for those who do not have Japanese language support on their computer.

I have finally made a flash version of this web site. I am really excited about this because it is something that I have been avoiding for a long time. I opted to use flash only for the navigation and not for the main content because of how text heavy and subject to revision it is.

The state of Lion Gallery v07: Temporary Website, was just as it appeared, a temporary web site. I knew that I would be adding lots of new content and rethinking how things are organized, and so I left things in a simple and easily editable text only html home page. Now, however, things have solidified enough for me to go ahead and produce this new structure. I hope that this new structure will entice people to view the entirety of the site more fully. The navigational scheme is intended to make browsing Lion's Basement quick, clean, and easy. You can now get from any page to any other page in usually 2 clicks... and the options are always present, making "back" buttons, "home" buttons, and "go to the top of this page" buttons unnecessary.

Additional new content include a section about chops as well as small revisions here and there throughout the site,

  
Feb. 25, 2002 Additional refinements made throughout the site. More content added to the Shugyo Diary such as sections 6 and 10.  
Feb. 12, 2002 More work done to the shugyo diary, attempted to "finish" section 03 on meditation techniques and added more to section 09, recomended reading. Also added a new gallery, an arcive of old sites created by me.  
Feb. 05, 2002 added gv and friends 02 photo album, continue to correct thought and spelling errors throughout the site.  
Jan. 26, 2002 I have decided to forgo on sleep for a while and have been trying to develop the shugyo diary into something worth while. Please give feedback.  
Jan. 22, 2002 added new content, most notably the items under the { other stuff } heading. Most of that is under wraps... though you can probably expect a lot more development under the shugyo section in the following months.  
Jan. 10, 2002 my old site was out dated (2 years?) and I felt that I should create a new site. Thus I leave you with this simple orange interim. I will link to some old material for now, but will more than likely be restructuring everything when I have the time and inspiration to do so.
