Lotek is constantly evolving. We're ramping up for this years
Lotek Awareness Month with a new site design and new content
and ideas. Keep an eye on the future of the world and think
about how your actions effect the outcome.
January.10.1999 :
You can now purchase a copy of Shattered Sounds online at http://www.interruptaudio.com,
using kagi's secure online transaction system. Your support
for underground music and software is greatly appreciated.
December.5.1998 :
The Shattered Sound compilation is released on Lotek's Interrupt Audio label. This
was celebrated with Dronetek radio presence on Chicago's WNUR
radio station as well as a Chicago CD release party and a Columbus
release party a week earlier. Look for more releases to come
in the future.
November.6.1998 :
November is declared official Lotek Awareness Month. Anyone who
is down with the cause should take this month to reflect back on
the past and more importantly to look forward into the future of
Lotek. This will also mark the beginning of a new awakening of
internal development as well as external activities. Both public
and covert programs have been reinitiated. Be on the lookout.
August.24.1998 :
lotek.org ver. 4 is released. hit [shift] + (reload) to clear
your cash and check out the new styles.
June.27.1998 :
A sigh of accomplishment is heard as lotek members celebrate
the completion of 2 new web sites. The company formally known
as lpl and [L] has gone commercial as media thirtyone,
and the the long awaited d6ga
site has finally been unleashed onto the net. Be sure to check
out the high end services that these two companies are capable
of providing
May.29.1998 :
Diatom did not turn out as expected due to a variety of factors
including Ameritech's voicemail boxes going down for the prime
of the evening, heavy rainfall, and loss of the original venue.
However, good music from dj's such as Fierce from London was
heard throughout the night.
May.13.1998 :
Klepton: A Documentary, a five minute
episode showcasing a few highlights of the Klepton event that
happened February 7th, 1998. It is a chance to relive special
moments from the night.
May.10.1998 :
Lion Gv of Lotek officially renamed LiON Production Labs to
[L] Production Labs. and gave the production labs' web page a complete
face lift. These major changes are in preparation for this summer
when [L]PL will undergo serious work to establish Lotek
in the production industry.
Mar.XX.1998 :
The original Lotek/#614 rc5 cracking team has been resurrected.
We are one of the fastest cracking teams, although with our
long hiatus, it will take time to catch up with others. We
still support the Acid/Lotek team as well.
Feb.12.1998 :
Snapdrgn of Lotek has set up a proxy server for the Bovine rc5
and des encryption cracking competitions. It is set up as proxy.lotek.org to send and receive rc5 and des blocks and will help
with keeping track of statistics. For more information on the

Feb.10.1998 :
Omot and Monad of Lotek establish Proton Industries,
a non-profit organization for arranging free or affordable
networking support as well as other miscellaneous computing
services for schools of underpriveleged children.
Feb.07.1998 :
On February 7th, Droneteknologies presented
Klepton, an all drum & bass event which featured talent
from all over the midwest and east coast from 11:00pm to 8:30am.
Over 500 people showed up to support this event, making it a

Jan.06.1997 :
The Lotek Institution for the Progression of Human Evolution
( LiPHE) is established. The organization wishes
to further the human race towards no longer being the human
race as we currently know it.
Dec.2X.1997 :
The Lotek Family merges with the European collective, Toxyn. The new Toxyn/Lotek alliance is sure to shatter the underground
as we know it. Be on the lookout for the two behemoths in the
news for various scenes, both underground and mainstream.
Dec.1X.1997 :
The infamous Lotek.org server returns. Currently, the www.lotek.org web server, mail@lotek.org
mail server, and the PhiberNet irc server, are being run off
