"what is lotek?"

	Often times the questions arises: "What is Lotek?" This is a question that can in no way be answered sufficiently through written medium. It is something that needs to be experienced to truly understand, perhaps something that only a lotek can only understand, from the inside.
We can start by listing a few of the things that Lotek is. Lotek is a figment of collective imaginations. It is a way of thinking, a way of living. It is known as the Lotek way. Simultaneously, Lotek is a family. a crew. a gang. We are like minded people who strive for a singular goal, Lotek over all. So far we have collected some of the most brilliant minds around, and we have just begun.
	What we are not is a group of immature "elitist" kids. However, the fact that we are elitist is no misconception. Perhaps you disagree with our reasoning behind our perceptions of superiority. Look at the average human, look at the average Lotek. Yes, we are better. When we say something, it is usually true. When you hear of Lotek for the first time, most likely our presence has been there for a while, you are just now noticing.

One of our most visible tactics are the public projects that we are involved in. Many of us are constantly working to improve ourselves in many fields of Lotek interest, but often times we collaborate towards a single common goal. A few of these such teams are Drone Technologies, Lotek Production Labs, and Lotek Nokturnal Klan.
	Drone Technologies is a production crew of central Ohio promoters. We throw "parties" or "raves." We sponsor DJ's and live electronic musicians. Our Klepton event was the most successful drum&bass event ever to be held in Columbus, Ohio. It was followed up by Diatom in collaboration with the local ele_mental crew. Domeville, an experiment in live electronic music performance involving computers and didgeridoos among other things, has growin into the Interrupt Audio Recordings label with the Shattered Sounds album as its first release. Be on the lookout for further Lotek related musical excursions.
So what do the rest of us do? We are all involved in separate projects as well, as our vision for the future plays out much like a sci-fi film of the 21st century. Current interests lie in fields of internet security, systems administration, programming, cellular technology, phone system intricacy, robotics, hi and lo resolution graphics, electronic music production and deejaying, current and vintage console devices, as well as many other smaller fields too numerous to mention.

To answer this easily, we are everywhere. To be more specific, we have public locations in North America, Europe, and Asia, listed are major cities in areas we flex influence in. We have roots in Africa and other possible worlds. However our main collective is based in the 614 area code, Columbus, Ohio, US. We still represent strongly in this neighborhood.

Where are we going tomorrow? We will be everywhere by tomorrow. We will be the ones helping others across the street, or more accurately, the ones building the street for you to cross. We will be on all continents with equal representation. We will reach out to the planets first, then the stars. It is within our grasp, time being the only restraint. It is up to the reader whether or not they wish to be there as well.
