Content has slowly been added to the site... enough so that I'm finally getting around to writing another bit of news here to tell you what to look for. First of all, Recorded Voice was finally added to my Music Gallery. It is a cyber-punk radio play that my friend Bocci and I made our sophomore year at Northwestern. A 6th Hirez gallery is in the making, as in I'm making some art here and there when I get the chance. When enough of it is made I'll put up the new gallery. In similar news, you can check out 2 new galleries that I made. The first is my 2nd Japan Photo Gallery and the other is some photo documentation of a sculpture that I made in the spring of my Junior year at Northwestern.

I don't think that anything has been updated in a while here at the basement but I wanted to keep anyone who might be out there informed. I finished my Junior year here at NU and all in all it went well. Only one more year of University to go! I'm currently enrolled in summer school and I'm working a part-time job at a media production firm. I've not done much in the way of HiRez art in the past few months but I have been making experimental videos and if I can find a good place to stream them from I'll put them up here when I get a chance. I don't have much time because if I'm not at work or school or studying, I'm reading or training. I've been exercising and meditating almost every day... feels good.

Well, about time for an update eh? Not too much to update, seems like my guestbook becomes a center for flaming and and or debate on occasion, check it out if you haven't yet. One new thing to add to the site, D93 Team5. This is the website that I made for my 3D animation class. It includes my first real attempt at 3D. It could be A LOT better, but I'm happy with it as my first attempt. I finally finished Cryptonomicon over spring break. I was let down by the last chapter which I felt could have been expanded into another 4-10 chapters :) I've also cleaned up the links page, removed some of the dead weight.

Went to Southern Africa with my girlfriend and father for winter break. Had a ton of fun. You can expect some pictures, video stills, maybe even a video clip at some undisclosed point in the future. Since then, I've become buried in school work. I don't even have time to finish reading Cryptonomicon! I did, however, have some free time today . While browsing through some of my old music, I found a song that my roommate Eric and I wrote in the spring of 1998. It's called stick that broomstick, and it can be found in my music gallery.

Big thanks to disco of lotek for fixing my guest book. As many of you may have noticed, it has been down for quite some time now. Other updates to the site include the addition of my first japan photo gallery and additional pictures for vol 2 of my photo album. I've also added another song, sensenet star, to my music gallery and a new paper to my literature section.

It had been 11 months since I last updated Lion's Basement. 3jane and paradyme bitched at me and in a bout of inspiration that can only come from the procrastination of a final paper I began work. 2 new papers for my literature section, a new art gallery, the beginning of a music gallery, and a revised site design are some of the by products of this endeavor. Also an entirely new about me page (flowers coming soon). I hope that you enjoy!
